Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to a nearby affiliated facility as needed to support staffing demands
• Adhere to all facility policies, competency requirements, and onboarding testing protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact eligibility
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• EPIC EMR proficiency required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Medical/Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Must pass a day-one competency assessment administered on-site at orientation (one attempt only)
• Must be willing to float to an affiliated hospital location as needed
• Holiday time-off requests will not be approved for this assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract nursing experience
• Experience in a fast-paced acute care or telemetry environment
• Familiarity with Relias online learning and competency testing platforms
