Commercial Loan Officer

A well-established, community-focused financial institution is seeking an experienced Commercial / Agricultural Lender to lead the next chapter of its growth in Southern Illinois. This role is ideal for a lender who values autonomy, strong client relationships, and local decision-making. Qualifications years of commercial and/or agricultural lending experience in a community or regional bank - Proven success managing portfolios of $10MM-$25MM+ - Strong understanding of C&I, CRE, and ag operating or equipment loans - Skilled in financial analysis, credit underwriting, and client relationship management - Familiarity with SBA, USDA, and FSA programs preferred - Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) - Active involvement in local business and community organizations

Key Skills - Credit and financial analysis (C&I, CRE, Ag) - Relationship development and portfolio growth - Business development and COI networking - Risk management and loan monitoring - Effective communication and negotiation skills - Self-motivated, organized, and entrepreneurial
