Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities Use Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit to design plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Perform calculations to size and design sanitary sewer, vent, potable water, natural gas, and storm water piping per plumbing codes. Coordinate with owner, architect, and other trades as needed. Coordinate utility points of connections to and from buildings in collaboration with civil engineers. Obtain permits from local building and safety agencies by coordinating with plan checkers and attending verification meetings. Respond to RFIs and submittals during the construction administration phase. Attend field site visits as needed. Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering. Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, experience with Revit preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work well within project teams. Ability to complete work in a timely manner and meet client deadlines.
