We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing nutritious, appetizing meals that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and resident satisfaction. Position Details Schedule: Part-Time | Day Shift Key Responsibilities As a Cook, your responsibilities will include: Preparing all served food with attention to taste, presentation, and nutritional value Planning food production to align with scheduled meal service times Memorizing, recording, and understanding menu items, plate presentations, and portion sizes Following standard recipes and adhering to special dietary orders Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Ensuring compliance with all sanitation, infection control, and food production regulations Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances Assisting with inventory control and proper food storage procedures Working collaboratively with dietary staff to provide quality meal service to residents Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred One (1) year of dining services experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related healthcare setting preferred Culinary school training preferred COVID-19 vaccination required unless an approved exemption is presented upon hire Why Woodland Manor Nursing and Rehab?
