Requirements Pediatrix Medical group is seeking board-certified Pediatricians to join our team at OhioHealth Obleness Hospital in Athens, OH on a per diem basis to provide coverage of the Newborn Nursery. Newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists - No Pediatric floor coverage 24 hour shift of rounding plus offsite call Pediatric Hospitalists will perform circs Pediatric Consultations: Provide expert pediatric consultations to the emergency department, offering timely assessments, recommendations, and treatment plans for pediatric patients. Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with a team of pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI): The ability to participate in CQI initiatives and clinical research projects, contributing to the enhancement of patient care outcomes and best practices. Knowledge Exchange: Take advantage of the opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of Pediatrix providers, including over 400 NICUs and several thousand providers. Qualifications Board Certified in Pediatrics required Minimum of 1 year post-residency experience required Active OH License or IMLC license preferred Recent clinical experience required (within the last 12 months) Benefits and Compensation Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.
