CNC Setup Technician 2nd Shift
CNC Setup Technician 2nd Shift Location: Gastonia, NC Pay: $25.00+ per hour (Based on Experience) Our manufacturing shop in Gastonia is currently seeking experienced CNC Setup Technicians to join our team on 2nd shift. This is a great opportunity for skilled machinists looking for steady hours and competitive pay. Schedule:
Monday Thursday 3:30 PM 2:00 AM Must be open to working overtime on Fridays as needed
Responsibilities:
- Set up and prepare CNC machines for production runs
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Install tooling, fixtures, and offsets
- Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments
- Monitor machine performance and ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of CNC setup experience
- Strong knowledge of G-code and machine operations
- Ability to read measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Blueprint reading skills required
- Strong attention to detail and quality
