ICU Registered Nurse

The ICU Registered Nurse provides specialized care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit, ensuring their needs are met with expertise and compassion. They collaborate with medical teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following facility protocols.
• Perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation procedures.
• Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in patient status.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hold an active New York State RN license.
• Possess a minimum of two years' critical care experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in conscious sedation, IV insertion, and phlebotomy.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Complete primary source verification of license and registration.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with an Associate's Degree (ASN, ADN).
