Description Retail Store Manager to join our Team! The position offers a pay range of $23.80 to $31.25 per hour , with potential for a substantial monthly bonus based on store performance. In addition to the hourly rate, our Retail Store Managers can earn a lucrative monthly bonus, contributing to a major portion of total yearly income. Access to the FirstCash Pet Insurance program. Position Summary We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales a plus). A Store Manager will be accountable for day-to-day store operations and promoting a positive/productive environment. The role includes leading, coaching, and developing store employees, recruiting and retaining top talent, maximizing financial goals, and managing customer relations and satisfaction. The Store Manager will analyze financial statements to ensure goals are met and adjust as necessary; maintain asset protection and safety, and promote the business with internal and external marketing tools. All employees work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. This position offers a competitive wage plus a bonus based on store performance. The successful Store Manager’s pay will be based on location, qualifications, and experience. This position reports to the area’s District Manager. Responsibilities (This is a representative list of general duties; other duties may be assigned as needed.) Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and addressing issues promptly. Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards. Recruit top talent through company-prescribed channels. Open and close the store, including cash drawer and merchandise handling, ensuring procedures protect assets. Ensure asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans. Administer store processes and procedures including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and reporting. Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal-setting. Ensure operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards. Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of loans. Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development as requested. Communicate with employees to align with store mission and profit objectives. Remain up-to-date on product knowledge. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting). Demonstrated ability to supervise others. Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified. May assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage. Minimum Age: 18 years old High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience Should be able to work in multiple locations as needed. Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays. Store Managers work 45+ hours a week. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and office machines. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills. Cash handling experience required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
