Description Prairie Band Health Service is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional healthcare services at Taos Picuris Service Unit located in Taos, New Mexico 87571 Learn more about the facility here: Taos-Picuris Service Unit | Healthcare Facilities Details Monday through Friday Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients required Duties Conducting patient assessments, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans Providing education to patients, families, and the broader community on health and wellness Coordinating referrals to specialty care and ensuring follow-up Maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation Ordering and interpreting lab and diagnostic tests Prescribing medications following IHS formulary guidelines Supporting quality improvement efforts and adherence to safety protocols Additional Duties Additional duties and responsibilities may be added to this job description at any time. Requirements Shall be certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Possess a current, unrestricted state medical license from any of the 50 states or Puerto Rico 3 years of experience in diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of adult and pediatric conditions. Current Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support. DEA Maintain continuing education/ certification. Must be a U.S. citizen living primarily within the United States. Must be willing and able to complete and pass the federal security clearance process.
