Salary: Starting at $60k

Under the direct supervision of the Program Director, the Program Manager supervises,assistsand trains Mental Health Workers in day-to-day operations and provides direct personal care and supervision to facility staff and residents while promoting client well-being through support with instrumental activities of daily living.

JobResponsibilities

• Trainsnew hireMental Health Workers in everyday functions.

• Assistsresidents in daily living activities and trains residents in self-care practices.

• Aids staff in administering therapeutic activities, such as physical exercises, arts and crafts, and recreational games.

• Converses with residents to promote social interaction.

• Observes, documents, and attends to routine health care needs of residents under supervision of medical personnel and reports client status change to the Lead, PD, or the Nursing Manager as needed.

• Assistsresidents in taking medication as prescribed.

• Accompaniesresidents on off-groundstrips, instructs and counsels residents inpurchaseof items.

• Follows facility safety guidelines including proper liftingtechniqueand Universal Precautions.

• Reviewsweekly treatment plans with clients.

• Works directly with the catering company to discuss daily census.

• Ordersfacility itemson a monthly basis.

• Supports withde-escalating crisis situations.

• Addresses patient complaints with the support and guidance of the Program Director.

• Maintainssufficient facility items in stock and readily available for residents and staffuse.

• Facilitatesthree groups a week.

• Covers intake department and provides on-call support as needed.

• Duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent

• 1+ years in a leadership role preferred but notrequired.

• Certifications: Basic First Aid & CPR, Clear California and Federal background checks

• A Clear criminal record review and fingerprint background check

• Successful completion of a Negative Drug Test

*Hiring is contingent upon a full background screeningin accordance withCalifornia licensing regulations; DOJ/FBI clearance, pre-employment physical, and TB clearance. DMV printout and Basic First Aid certification arerequiredprior to employment.

License, Certification, Registration

• Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support Certification

• Must have an activeDriver's License

• Must provide proof of vehicle insurance coverage of a minimum of $30,000 liability
