About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** October 26, 2026 **Location:** Austin, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 13-week contract, includes 4 shifts per schedule period

Highlights:

• 32-bed Emergency Department with 4:1 patient ratio and comprehensive support staff including CNCs, medics, and PCTs
• High-acuity ED experience with procedures including intubations, lumbar punctures, TNK administration, laceration repairs, and splinting
• Meditech EMR system utilized for all patient documentation
• Night shift position with no call requirements
• 13-week contract assignment with potential for permanent positions available

Requirements:

• Current Texas RN license or compact state license (active, unencumbered)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required by start date
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) required by start date
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience strongly preferred
