Role Description The Director of Rehabilitation is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Alameda, CA. This role oversees rehabilitation services, including program development, clinical quality, and interdisciplinary coordination across physical, occupational, and speech therapy, as appropriate. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising and mentoring clinical staff, managing caseload distribution, and ensuring evidence-based, patient-centered care aligned with Healthwell’s holistic philosophy. The Director will participate in patient evaluations and treatment planning, collaborate with referring providers, and maintain high standards of documentation, compliance, and outcome tracking. Additional tasks include optimizing clinic workflows, supporting staff training, contributing to community outreach, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and ethical care environment. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Rehabilitation with a strong foundation in Physical Therapy. Knowledge of Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy to support an interdisciplinary rehabilitation approach. Understanding of Medicine and pain management principles relevant to holistic, non-surgical care. Current professional licensure in Physical Therapy or a related rehabilitation discipline in the state of California (or eligibility to obtain). Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient clinic setting. Strong skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based clinical decision-making. Excellent communication, collaboration, and team-building abilities, with a commitment to inclusive and non-discriminatory practices. Experience with documentation systems, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance. Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy or related field preferred; additional training in Pilates, neuromuscular re-education, or manual therapy is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
