Mechanical Quality Assurance Inspector — Weekend Shift

Join Nelson Numeric and perform final and in-process inspections on high-precision aerospace components. Work 36 hours and get paid for 40!

What You’ll Do

• Inspect and audit a variety of aerospace products for conformance with customer and regulatory requirements
• Read, interpret, and understand GD&T
• Use precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, height gauges, calipers, bore gauges, and related tools
• Perform receiving, in-process, first-article, and final inspections
• Communicate inspection findings and quality information clearly to the appropriate teams
• Complete work orders accurately in the company’s ERP system

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Required: Aerospace piece-part mechanical inspection experience
• Experience with precision inspection methods
• Prior bench-inspection experience using physical gauges
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable working independently
• Ability to apply skilled mechanical inspection methods using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and procedure manuals
• Experience in an AS9100 aerospace environment

Weekend Shift Perks

• 12% shift premium- not including in the post wage
