Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for preparing delicious meals, maintaining high standards of food safety, and contributing to a positive dining experience for all staff and visitors. This full‑time position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of meals and snacks according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Ensure all meals are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas, adhering to health and safety regulations. Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock levels. Collaborate with team members to plan menus and accommodate special dietary requests. Conduct regular checks of food storage areas and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Assist in training and mentoring new kitchen staff as required. Participate in staff meetings and contribute ideas for menu improvements and kitchen efficiency. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification or relevant experience preferred. Proven experience as a cook in a commercial kitchen or similar environment. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
