Family Nurse Practitioner

Overview Full-Time Family Nurse Practitioner opportunity in Selma, Alabama. Includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus. The clinic provides urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal applicant can lead a small team in a high-volume urgent care environment and exercise full scope of practice across age groups (babies to geriatric). Responsibilities Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues Perform minor procedures (toe nail removal, foreign object removal, etc.) Suturing Splinting General orthopedic evaluations/management Review x-rays (over-read by Radiologist) General dermatology and general eye problems General EKG interpretations Emergency management skills General GYN expertise Treat children of all ages and provide occupational medicine Telemedicine Schedule and Work Environment MainClinic hours: Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Saturday–Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. This role includes a rotating schedule with weekends as part of the rotation.
