Account Advocate

Overview In the role of Account Advocate working on‑site in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, you will be part of the Business Solutions OTC team. The Account Advocate provides customer and administrative support to assigned accounts, ensuring timely and compliant order processing, pricing, and customer communication. Responsibilities Process, revise, cancel, monitor, and track customer orders to guarantee on‑time shipping and compliance with operational requirements. Provide excellent customer service through phone, email, and customer portals, answering inquiries on product information, pricing, and availability for retail channel partners. Act as the subject‑matter expert for assigned accounts on customer operations compliance and procedures, resolving issues efficiently and compassionately. Administer and manage customer orders, pricing changes, compliance deductions, and internal processes to meet customer requirements. Train new team members and cross‑train colleagues for backup support. Collaborate with internal departments to implement processes that improve compliance adherence and address opportunities for improvement. Ensure accurate EDI transmission of pricing, order acknowledgements, and inventory to partners. Maintain customer information in the ERP system for the assigned customer base and manage communication in external customer portals. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. Minimum Job Requirements Associate’s degree in business or equivalent experience. 2+ years of relevant finance, sales, and/or customer service experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Great attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills. Effective time management, organizational, and prioritization skills. Ability to plan and coordinate cross‑functional process implementation. Preferred Job Requirements Previous experience using SAP or equivalent ERP. Experience with Microsoft Office suites, including Excel. Prior experience in B2B customer service, sales support, inventory control, or an administrative role. Experience supporting retail customers in a manufacturing environment. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; use hands to manipulate objects or controls; stand and walk; stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders; lift up to 25 pounds. The job requires frequent and continuous computer‑based work, periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
