FP&A Manager

DescriptionOur client is seeking an experienced FP& A Manager to support financial performance, profitability analysis, and strategic business planning within a complex manufacturing environment. This individual will serve as a key member of the finance team, providing insights that help leadership make informed decisions related to cost management, operational efficiency, investments, and growth initiatives.ResponsibilitiesLead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting processesBuild and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, profitability trends, and growth opportunitiesOwn standard costing processes and monitor key cost drivers across the businessAnalyze manufacturing variances and identify opportunities to improve financial and operational resultsDevelop profitability reporting by product, business segment, and customer groupEvaluate pricing strategies and provide financial support for customer agreements and new business opportunitiesPartner with business leaders to assess operational performance, spending trends, and cost-saving initiativesSupport capital investment decisions through financial analysis and return-on-investment modelingCreate executive-level reporting, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses to support decision makingAssist leadership in identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for continuous improvementHighlightsHighly visible role supporting senior leadershipMix of FP& A, cost accounting, and strategic finance responsibilitiesOpportunity to drive business performance and profitability initiativesCollaborative, growth-oriented environmentRequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related fieldManufacturing, industrial, or operational finance experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysisAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skillsExperience working within ERP systems and large data setsAbility to communicate financial information to a broad audience and influence business decisionsAnalytical mindset with a proven ability to identify trends and recommend solutionsJob typePerm
