About Zoo Sindang NYC: Zoo Sindang NYC is a unique, high-concept speakeasy cocktail bar located in the heart of Manhattan. Rooted in Korean culture and the tradition of the 12 Zodiac signs, we blend authentic Korean spirits with modern craft mixology, offering an immersive, storytelling-driven guest experience. Following our successful launch, we are expanding our bar team and seeking passionate, creative, and hospitality-driven Bartenders to join us on this exciting journey.
Position Overview: As a Bartender at Zoo Sindang NYC, you will be the storyteller and craftsman behind the bar. You will prepare signature zodiac-inspired cocktails, showcase craft mixology using traditional Korean liquors (Hwayo, Leegangju, etc.), and deliver exceptional hospitality in an intimate, high-energy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Craft and serve signature zodiac cocktails and classic drinks with precision, speed, and artistic presentation.
Educate and guide guests through our unique Korean spirit collection and menu concepts.
Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, and bar prep standards.
Collaborate with the management and bar team to uphold service quality and continuous menu elevation.
Deliver warm, attentive, and personalized hospitality to ensure a memorable experience for every guest.
Qualifications:
2+ years of high-volume craft cocktail bar or speakeasy experience preferred.
Passion for and curiosity about craft mixology, spirits, and Korean culinary culture (prior experience with Korean spirits is a plus, but not required—training will be provided).
Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, technique, and beverage presentation.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
Must have valid work authorization in the US and required local certifications (e.g., NYC Food Handlers, TIPS).
