QA Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology industry, is seeking a dedicated QA Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a QA Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive ownership, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: QA Engineer

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $38/hour + Benefits

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for product software features
• Write and maintain automated test scripts using Python to ensure software quality
• Perform hands-on testing of product software systems to identify issues
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution, ensuring quality standards are met
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality milestones and drive continuous improvement

What's Needed?

• Strong Python programming skills, including test automation and scripting
• Demonstrated ownership mindset with proactive problem-solving abilities
• Ability to analyze complex systems, debug, and diagnose failures effectively
• Experience with test frameworks such as pytest or similar tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate findings clearly
