Compensation

• Base Salary: $45,000 – $50,000 annually
• Bonus Potential: Up to $12,000 annually

Position Overview

We are seeking a Personal Trainer in Odenton, MD who is passionate about helping individuals improve their health through movement, education, and support .

This role is ideal for someone who wants to move beyond traditional gym settings and work directly with patients in a clinical, team-based environment focused on weight loss and chronic disease management .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group personal training sessions
• Develop customized exercise programs using functional and corrective exercise techniques
• Help patients overcome barriers to starting and maintaining a fitness routine
• Support patients in improving mobility, strength, and daily function
• Create a welcoming, energetic, and non-intimidating environment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team (medical, nutrition, behavioral health)
• Track and document patient progress and outcomes
• Educate patients on safe and sustainable movement practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field (preferred)
• Active Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, or equivalent)
• Current CPR/AED Certification
• Experience with functional training, corrective exercise, or group fitness preferred
• Strong communication and patient engagement skills
• Passion for working with individuals managing chronic conditions or weight loss goals
