Job Description: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. As a CNA, you will provide essential patient care and support while maintaining the highest standard of professionalism and ethical behavior. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients with daily activities, ensuring their physical and emotional comfort. Key Responsibilities Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Help patients with mobility by transferring, positioning, and turning them as necessary. Observe and report any changes in patients' condition or behavior to the nurse or healthcare team promptly. Monitor patients' vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate, and respiratory rate. Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols. Serve meals and assist patients with eating and drinking as needed. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, ensuring their mental well-being. Follow all healthcare policies and procedures, including respecting patients' rights to privacy and confidentiality. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and doctors, to develop and implement patient care plans. Document patients' activities, treatments, and responses to care accurately and timely. Qualifications and Requirements Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from an accredited program. Proven experience working as a CNA in a healthcare setting preferred. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and equipment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Compassionate and empathetic nature to provide emotional support to patients in various conditions. Ability to handle stressful situations and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to accurately document patient care activities. Physical stamina and endurance to perform tasks requiring frequent standing, lifting, and assisting patients.
