Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit - Per Diem

Job Description:

Step into a fast-paced ICU environment in a per diem nursing role where your expertise will drive exceptional patient outcomes and bedside care. We're seeking candidates with a minimum of three years in ICU nursing, an active California RN license, and current ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications. The role requires comfort with continuous cardiac monitoring, IV therapy and vasopressor management, and the flexibility to float to support other units as needed. Experience with electronic medical records is preferred so you can seamlessly collaborate with the care team and maintain strict infection control and isolation precautions.

Requirements:

• 3 years ICU RN Experience
• Current CA RN License
• ACLS
• BLS
• CPI
• NIHSS
• Must be willing to float
• Covid Vaccination and Booster Required (No Medical or Religious Exemptions accepted)
• Must live within 50 mile radius
• 1 year separation from UCI Health
• References: 2 references who have supervised RN from a work assignment within the last year (Department Manager Supervisor Charge Nurse Nurse Manager Assistant Nurse Manager)
