Social Media Coordinator

Are you passionate about social media and storytelling? Sonaya Group — the local franchise operator behind Del Taco, Great Clips, and Koala Insulation across New Mexico — is looking for a Social Media & Content Marketing Coordinator to bring our brands to life online. You’ll own the day-to-day content and social presence across our portfolio, working directly with leadership to grow brand awareness, drive foot traffic, and build community for the brands New Mexicans already know and love.

Founded in Albuquerque in 2014, Sonaya Group is a local franchise operator and real estate investment company. We own and operate all 10 Del Taco locations in New Mexico, 15 Great Clips salons across the state, and are the exclusive Koala Insulation franchisee for Albuquerque and Santa Fe. We're in growth mode — remodeling existing Del Taco locations, opening new ones across the Albuquerque-Rio Rancho area, and expanding our team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and schedule engaging content across all social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn) for our Del Taco, Great Clips, and Koala Insulation brands Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with promotions, new store openings, remodels, and seasonal campaigns Write and edit copy for social posts, email newsletters, and website/blog content Shoot and edit short-form video content for store openings, promotions, and behind-the-scenes content Monitor social channels, respond to comments/messages, and manage online reputation (including Google reviews) Assist with paid social advertising campaigns and track performance metrics Visit locations to source photo/video content, employee spotlights, and local community stories Track analytics and report on content performance, engagement, and reach across all brands Stay current on social media trends and bring fresh ideas to leadership

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

1-2 years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing (internships count!) Strong writing skills with a knack for storytelling and adapting voice across different brands Familiarity with major social platforms and how to optimize Experience with content scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, or similar) Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting Comfort with photo/video creation and editing tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe tools a plus) A valid driver's license and reliability to travel between local Albuquerque-area store locations Ability to juggle multiple brands and projects while meeting deadlines Team player with strong communication skills
