Your future role at a glance Location: Kyle, TX Facility: Seton Medical Center-Hays Department/Specialty: Diagnostic Radiology and Operating Room Schedule: Days | Full-time | Monday - Thursday, 6:30am - 4pm (4-9s, 36 hours / week) How you'll make an impact in this role Deliver exceptional patient care during complex operating room procedures as a dedicated Radiology Technologist. Perform specialized imaging procedures and diagnostic scans within the operating room while assisting the interdisciplinary team. Ensure strict clinical documentation and adherence to radiation safety guidelines within Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) systems. Prepare and position patients accurately, selecting precise anatomic parameters to optimize diagnostic aid and quality improvement. Administer contrast media safely, monitoring patient outcomes and regulatory compliance as a licensed Radiology Technologist. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required. Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) ) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Vascular Interventional Radiography, Cardiac Interventional Radiography and Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography also accepted. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
