Long Term Care Pharmacist in Horsham, PA

A healthcare facility in the Horsham, PA area is seeking skilled pharmacy technicians to support their Long Term Care and staff pharmacy operations. This opportunity is contract to hire with a duration of approximately 13 weeks, offering an excellent way to showcase your pharmacy technician skills and transition into a permanent role.

Location: Horsham, PA (north of Philadelphia)

Schedule:

Immediate starts available for first wave starting Monday, February 23rd
- Morning shifts (9:00 AM - 5:30 PM) for eKit preparation and prepack duties
- Midday shifts (10:00 AM - 6:30 PM) filling prescriptions
- Evening shifts (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) filling prescriptions
Additional shifts starting Monday, March 9th
- Morning shift (10:00 AM - 6:30 PM) filling
- Afternoon shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) filling

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately prepare and process prescription orders according to assigned duties
Assist pharmacists by managing technician tasks such as filling, eKit preparation, and prepack
Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and ensure quality control
Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to support efficient operations

Desired Qualifications:

Minimum of six months of pharmacy technician experience preferred
PTCB certification is preferred but not mandatory, as Pennsylvania does not regulate pharmacy technicians
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Reliable and punctual with flexible availability for the shifts listed
