This position reports to the General Manager. Responsibilities Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor. Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas, and supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste. Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances. Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues, and follow up with employees on assigned tasks. Monitor employee training during shift and develop employees by providing ongoing feedback and establishing performance expectations. Respond to guests' complaints and turn dissatisfied guests into return guests, ensuring consistent, high-quality food preparation and service. Qualifications Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, Google Suite). Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, security, company policies and procedures, and personnel management. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must be willing to submit to a background check.
