Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized therapy strategies that address the unique needs and goals of each client. \n
- Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques. \n
- Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure high-quality care and accountability. \n
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care, attending regular meetings to discuss client progress and treatment modifications as necessary. \n
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, to stay current with mental health research and therapeutic advancements. \n
As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Presidio County Trauma & Recovery Services, you will primarily support clients struggling with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise may also extend to working with individuals facing substance abuse problems or seeking support through family dynamics. The goal of our practice is to empower clients to lead fulfilling lives by providing compassionate, personalized care.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field. \n
- Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. \n
- A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting. \n
- Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards within the therapeutic context. \n
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to establish rapport with a diverse client base. \n

- Specialization in therapeutic modalities such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable. \n
- Experience with telehealth platforms is a plus, as our counselors frequently interact with clients in a digital environment. \n
We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a performance-based bonus structure.
