This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting operations, customer interactions, financial systems, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced consumer goods environment.This position is part of our 6-month Co-op Program, running from January 4, 2027, through June 25, 2027. The role follows a hybrid work model, with team members expected to work three days per week from our Boston Seaport Corporate Office and the remaining days remotely. QualificationsRequired QualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.Interest in financial operations, accounting processes, and customer account management.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with Microsoft Excel.Exposure to SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.Previous customer service or administrative experience is beneficial but not required.What You'll GainFoundational understanding of accounting principles and financial operations.Hands-on experience using business systems, including SAP and Excel.Exposure to customer-facing financial processes and account management.Insight into month-end close activities and finance team operations.Opportunities to attend finance meetings and learn from experienced accounting and finance professionals.Mentorship and development support from Finance team leaders and cross-functional business partners.Experience collaborating with Customer Operations, Accounting, and external business partners to resolve real-world business challenges. This ensures your privacy, and Boston Beer's confidential information are protected.ResponsibilitiesCustomer Credit & Account SupportProcess customer credit requests accurately and in a timely manner.Review account information and support documentation to ensure compliance with company policies.Maintain accurate records and support account reconciliations as needed.Container ManagementWork directly with customers to confirm keg liabilities and validate account balances.Process empty container returns and ensure transactions are accurately recorded.Assist with tracking and reporting on container inventory and related financial activity.Cross-Functional Collaboration & Dispute ResolutionPartner with Customer Operations, wholesalers, and accounting teams to investigate and resolve customer disputes.Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and support issue resolution.Participate in process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and accuracy.Reporting & Administrative SupportAssist with financial reporting and data analysis projects.Support month-end close activities and other departmental initiatives as assigned.
