Process Engineer 1

This role is critical in ensuring manufacturing processes are efficient, scalable, and capable of meeting increased demand while maintaining high quality standards.You'll work cross-functionally with production, quality, and design teams to implement, stabilize, and continuously improve manufacturing processes in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the launch and ramp-up of production on 2nd shift by establishing and optimizing manufacturing processesDevelop and maintain assembly instructions, process documentation, and workmanship standardsDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, productivity, and cost efficiencyConduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues (process, equipment, or programming)Collaborate with production planning to ensure all jobs have proper documentation, tooling, and programming ready for executionProvide and analyze manufacturing data to track performance against production targetsPartner with Design Engineering on DFX initiatives:Design for Manufacturability (DFM)Design for Assembly (DFA)Design for Cost and TestSupport supplier interactions related to manufacturing processes and improvementsResearch and recommend new technologies and equipment to increase capacity and efficiencyAssist with programming manufacturing and inspection equipmentEnsure adherence to company quality systems and team member standardsEducation & Experience:Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 2+ years of experience, ORAssociate degree with 4+ years of experience, ORHigh school diploma with 6+ years of relevant manufacturing experienceExperience in electronics or electromechanical manufacturing requiredExperience working in a regulated quality environment (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or AS9100 preferred)Skills & KnowledgeKnowledge of circuit card assembly (CCA) processesFamiliarity with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standardsExperience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Design of Experiments (DOE)Strong technical writing and documentation skillsAbility to analyze data and present findings using charts/graphsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilitiesEffective communication skills across all levels of the organizationWhy You'll Love Working HereCompetitive pay and great benefits—including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time offBe part of a company that's growing, changing, and full of new opportunitiesA supportive, team-focused culture where your ideas matterMeaningful work that impacts industries making a difference in the worldIntervala utilizes and/or develops certain technologies which are subject to the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) or the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).Intervala is required to verify the status of all employees to determine whether each employee is a U.S. Person or a Foreign Person for the purposes of determining if an export authorization is required to approve an employee's access to export-controlled items, not as a condition for hire.Equal Opportunity Employer Intervala, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity in our workforce.
