Cisco Architect

We are seeking an experienced Cisco Network Architect to design, implement, optimize, and support enterprise-scale networking solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Cisco technologies, network architecture, security, cloud networking, and automation. This role requires strong technical leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver highly available, secure, and scalable network infrastructures. Key Responsibilities Design and develop enterprise network architectures using Cisco technologies. Lead network transformation, modernization, and migration projects. Architect LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WLAN, Data Center, and Cloud network solutions. Design secure network environments utilizing Cisco Security solutions. Evaluate current network infrastructure and recommend improvements. Implement high-availability and disaster recovery strategies. Develop network standards, policies, and best practices. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineering teams. Collaborate with security, cloud, application, and infrastructure teams. Support network automation using tools such as Python, Ansible, and Cisco DNA Center. Conduct capacity planning, performance analysis, and risk assessments. Create detailed architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation plans. Engage with stakeholders to align network strategies with business objectives. Participate in vendor selection, technology evaluations, and proof-of-concept testing. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of experience in enterprise networking. 5+ years of experience in network architecture and solution design. Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies. Deep understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, QoS, and VPN technologies. Experience designing large-scale enterprise and global network infrastructures. Strong knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN, DNA Center, ACI, and wireless solutions. Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP). Knowledge of network security architecture and Zero Trust frameworks.
