Epic Application AnalystHours of Work: 8-5 PMDays Of Week: Monday-FridayWork Shift: 8X5 Day (United States of America)Job Description:Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field is preferred.5+ years of healthcare IT experience is preferredEpic certification is required and 5 + years build experience within the Hospital Billing Epic module is requiredFunctional knowledge of EHR softwareProficiency in MS Office applicationsDemonstrated customer service skillsBilling workflow knowledgeAbility to effectively work cross-functionally with other application teamsAbility to communicate clearlyJob Responsibilities:Plan, design, test, implement, support, and maintain functionality related to the Professional Billing Epic moduleCreate, test, and document new build, workflows, changes, etc.Manage multiple jobs at one time, balancing resources, priorities, deadlines and time.Assist other application teams in understanding user needs and problems in order to determine feasibility of solutions.Mentors team members as necessary, and informs leadership of all events pertaining to the operations of assigned modules and projects.Manage help desk tickets, phone calls, emails, etc.Always look for ways to improve the patient experienceMUST BE LOCATED IN DFW AREAMethodist Health System is a faith-based organization with a mission to improve and save lives through compassionate, quality healthcare.
