Registered Nurse - Oncology ICU

Location: Dallas, Texas

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: Join our dedicated team in the Oncology ICU, where you will provide critical care to critically ill patients. The unit consists of 10 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2:1. Your role involves comprehensive patient care, including the management of advanced medical equipment and therapies.

Responsibilities:

Provide total care for critically ill patients, including turning, titrating drips, and dressing changes.
Perform necessary procedures such as tracheostomy care and ventilator management.
Collaborate effectively with physicians and team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Current and valid RN license.
ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
Must have strong ICU experience, particularly with titrating drips and managing patients on vents and Bipap.
Experience with CRRT and transplant patients (kidney, pancreas, liver) is preferred.
