Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced PCU / Stepdown Registered Nurse for a 13-week day-shift travel assignment. Put your cardiac nursing expertise to work in a dynamic float pool caring for intermediate and progressive care patients.

ASSIGNMENT HIGHLIGHTS

• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,000

• Location: Atlanta, GA

• Contract: 13 Weeks

• Start Date: November 16, 2026

• Schedule: 3x12 Days | 36 Hours/Week

• Patient Ratio: 1:3-4

• Floating: Required across PCU and IMCU units

• Patient Population: Cardiac and intermediate care

• On-Call: None

• Charting: Epic

• Requested Time Off: Minimal RTO

WEEKLY COMPENSATION

• Gross Weekly Pay: $2,000

• Taxable Weekly Pay: $540

• Non-Taxable Weekly Stipends: $1,460

• Taxable Hourly Rate: $15.00/hour

• Overtime: After 40 hours per week

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of PCU / Stepdown or comparable progressive care experience in a similarly sized facility

• BLS and ACLS certifications

• Experience caring for cardiac patients, including STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain

• Familiarity with cardiac drips, including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors

• Ability to float across PCU/IMCU units and care for lower-acuity telemetry patients

• Epic electronic medical record experience

Clinical Environment:

• Cardiac-focused PCU / Intermediate Care Float Pool

• Typical nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3-4

• Complex cardiac and cardiovascular surgery patients

• Cardiac drip management and telemetry monitoring
