Job Description

Job Summary:
A Multi Modality Tech I specializing in CT is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate results. This role involves operating imaging equipment independently, maintaining department standards, and providing age-specific patient care across various modalities.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment independently to acquire diagnostic images.
• Follow safety protocols and imaging guidelines, including ALARA, Image Gently, and Image Wisely.
• Perform quality control on all CT equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Document all procedures accurately in the database or logs.
• Assist in training students and new staff after gaining at least one year of experience.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards, supporting inspection readiness.

Qualifications:

• Possess a high school diploma or GED; completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology program.
• Meet education requirements for CT modality.
• Hold ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS certification in CT or equivalent.
• Maintain state licensure in Ohio or relevant jurisdiction.
• Have a minimum of 1+ years of radiology experience, with orientation in at least one other modality.
