Pay Rate: $ 1,900 To $ 2,100 per week

Schedule: Night Shift | Friday Sunday | 7:00 PM 7:00 AM

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery (L&D) for a 13-week weekend night-shift contract position in Pella, Iowa. The RN will provide safe, evidence-based nursing care while collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, patients, and families to support positive clinical outcomes.

• Assess patients and provide individualized nursing care using evidence-based practices and sound clinical judgment.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans while monitoring patient response and changes in clinical condition.

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments and perform general nursing duties according to established standards of care.

• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families to promote continuity and coordination of care.

• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech and appropriately direct support staff involved in patient care.

• Active Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) License in Good Standing Required.

• Graduate of an Accredited Registered Nursing Program Required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Preferred.

• Current American Heart Association BLS/BCLS Certification Required or Must Be Obtained Within 3 Months of Hire.

• Current ACLS Certification Required or Must Be Obtained According to Established Education Requirements.

• Strong Acute-Care Nursing, Critical-Thinking, Communication, Teamwork, and Basic Computer Skills Required; Acute-Care Experience Preferred.

The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse will provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care while supporting patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
