Machining Skilled Trades - Industrial Electrician Level III Troubleshoots, assembles, installs, tests and maintains electrical systems using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others.

Description for Candidates We are looking for a talented Electrician – Level III to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Lakewood, NY.

Education High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

Additional Information To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
• One of the following minimum requirements:
• At least 7 years of experience in a relevant trade field, or
• A Journeyman Trade Certificate with relevant experience, or
• A 2-year technical degree in a related field, plus 3 years' experience working in the Machine Repair/Industrial Electrical field
• Knowledge and understanding of the NEC and IEC (National Electrical Code and Industrial Electrical Code) is required along with training, authorization, and certification in 70E.
• Knowledge and troubleshooting skills of PLC, HMI, Servo Drives, CNC, automation, and Robotic controls is required.
