Med Tech/Caregiver for Assisted Living /Memory Care

Job Overview:
Join our dedicated Poway Gardens Memory Care LLC team as a Caregiver, a vital role committed to delivering safe, compassionate medication management and patient care. In this energetic position, you will assist in administering medications, monitoring resident health, and supporting residents in various care settings. Your expertise will ensure that individuals receive the highest quality of care while maintaining compliance with regulations and standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, individuals with Alzheimer's and Dementia.

Duties:

• Safely administer prescribed medications to residents or patients following all protocols and physician orders using EMR (Electronic Medical Records).
• Assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition support tailored to individual needs.
• Document medication administration, patient responses, and any adverse reactions accurately in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Support residents with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, hospice, or palliative care by providing compassionate assistance.
• Collaborate with Health Services Director and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized service plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control procedures and proper medication storage protocols.
• Engage with patients or residents with Dementia and Alzheimer's.

Skills:

• Proven experience working in assisted living facilities and memory care.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams while maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA standards.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other cognitive impairments in memory or hospice care settings.
• Knowledge of medical records management and medical documentation best practices.

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 2:30 PM - 11 PM Shift

Pay: $19.50 per hour
