Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$21.00 per hour

Shifts:

Temp-to-Hire
Rotating nights (7p.m. to 7 a.m. / 3 on, 4 off, rotates the following week to = 40 hours) 
Rotating days: (7a.m. to 7 p.m. / 3 on, 4 off, rotates the following week to = 40 hours) 
Rotating weekends (7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Friday through Sunday)

Temp / Project – starting now until the end of December or January
1st Shift - 7am-3pm Mon-Fri
2nd Shift - 3:00pm-11:00pm Mon-Fri
3rd Shift - 11pm-7am Mon=Fri

Maintenance/Facilities Temp. – 7am-3pm Mon-Fri

What’s a typical day as a Production Technician? You’ll be:

• Operating machines used in the production process, including setting up and running precision metal tube drawing equipment
• Adhering to safety and quality requirements and following technical specifications
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, maintenance instructions, and procedures
• Documenting all work performed on production and shipping/receiving documents or computer systems
• Performing in-process and visual inspections using magnification devices, gauges, and micrometers
• Maintaining segregation of conforming vs. non-conforming product
• Collaborating with engineering to improve current processes and participating in operational excellence initiatives
• Handling materials, labeling, and paperwork, and using lift assist devices and personal protective equipment as required
• Supporting overtime and mandatory overtime needs as business requires

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational schooling preferred)
• Possess at least 6 months’ work experience as a machine operation in a manufacturing environment
• Are proficient with basic mathematics and have experience working with small precision parts
• Can interpret technical drawings and blueprints and use precision measurement equipment
• Are comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and working with production materials for extended periods
• Are able and willing to work overtime, including weekends, as needed
