Operations Supervisor – 1st Shift Estimated annual base pay: $85,000.00 (minimum) – $110,000.00 (midpoint) – $136,000.00 (maximum). All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity. Resource Management: Allocates and coordinates resources effectively to meet operational objectives. Performance Management: Conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback, manages member development, recognition and ensures accountability and policy adherence. Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves day-to-day technical and operational issues and coaches and mentors team’s problem‑solving capabilities. Process Improvement: Collaborates with key stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness to improve the production system and meet customer demand. Key Skills Leadership: The ability to guide, motivate, and inspire teams to achieve goals while fostering collaboration, accountability, and a positive work environment. Critical Thinking, Problem Solving: The ability to analyze situations, evaluate options, and develop effective solutions using logic, creativity, and sound judgment. Operational Management: The ability to oversee daily operations, optimize processes, allocate resources effectively, and ensure productivity while meeting organizational goals and maintaining quality standards. Adjusts resources and priorities based on capacity, material availability, and customer demand. Team Communication: Sets example and models excellent communication skills with internal stakeholders, support teams, and own team. Time Management: Ability to identify critical tasks and allocate time and resources accordingly. Balances urgent production needs with short-term improvement initiatives. Consistently meets production and delivery targets. Manages competing priorities without compromising quality or safety. Lean Mindset: Follows lean practices such as 5S and waste reduction. Participates and supports continuous improvement activities. Leads the team through 5S, Visual Management, standardized work, and Daily Management System. Computer Skills: Strong skills in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for operational reporting. Ability to analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities. Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP. Basic understanding of MRP for inventory and production scheduling. Emotional Intelligence: The ability to recognize, understand, and manage your own emotions while effectively perceiving and responding to the emotions of others. Includes skills such as empathy, self‑awareness, emotional regulation, social awareness, and relationship management to foster positive interactions and resolve challenges constructively.
