Site Security Manager

Description

CenCore is seeking a Site Security Manager to support secure site operations in a high-security environment. This role supports the Campus Security Manager by helping oversee day-to-day security operations, personnel readiness, compliance documentation, and service continuity in a 24/7 security environment. The Site Security Manager helps ensure assigned personnel are trained, qualified, properly scheduled, and prepared to meet operational and customer requirements. This position requires an active Top Secret clearance and strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Campus Security Manager in executing day-to-day site security operations and providing leadership coverage as needed.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, development, and retention of assigned security personnel.
• Verify that assigned personnel meet applicable training, qualification, and compliance requirements before assuming duties.
• Monitor daily site performance, reinforce post standards, and address operational issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate training records, operational logs, incident documentation, and required personnel records.
• Maintain accountability for site-issued equipment, materials, and operational resources.
• Support internal, customer, and third-party audits, inspections, and compliance reviews through audit-ready documentation and procedural adherence.
• Promote personnel readiness, operational continuity, and consistent service delivery in a 24/7 security environment.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required; must be able to provide a valid U.S. Passport Book or Passport Card.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in security operations, guard force operations, or another high-security environment.
• Experience supporting compliance-driven operations, audits, inspections, or operational readiness activities.
• Strong customer service, professionalism, and judgment in a cleared, customer-facing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interpret and enforce procedures, post orders, and security requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related reporting, scheduling, incident documentation, or access-control support systems used in daily operations.
• Ability to support a 24/7 operation, including responsiveness during evenings, weekends, emergencies, and after-hours events.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, emergency management, business, or a related field.
• Prior experience as a site lead, shift supervisor, or site security manager in a cleared or high-security environment.
• Experience with workforce scheduling, staffing coordination, training records management, or site-level performance tracking.
• Experience maintaining equipment accountability, operational documentation, or audit-ready program records.
• Experience supporting critical infrastructure, secure facilities, or other mission-driven environments requiring strict procedural compliance.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Full-time position supporting a Monday through Friday schedule within a 24/7 security operations environment.
• Position is located at CYS in support of secure site operations.
• Must be responsive to operational needs, including evenings, weekends, emergencies, and after-hours events as needed.
