Full Stack Developer

What You'll be Owning GRVTY is seeking a Full Stack Developer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Chantilly, VA. The Senior Developer will be supporting a backend development team focused primarily on middleware and backend services. What You Must Have Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance (acceptable to this customer) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree Intermediate to Expert level experience in Solr or Elastic Search (minimum 3 years), and possessing: Experience performing schema updates Significant knowledge & experience in submitting Lucene queries Significant knowledge & experience on how Solr/Elastic shards work Significant experience tuning Solr/Elastic for performance and query optimization Minimum of 3 years of experience in a big data environment using tools such as Hadoop, Pyspark, Spark, and Hbase (prefer at least two of the list) Minimum of 5 years of hands-on, back-end Java development experience (not Javascript or Springboot) implementing code that undergoes code reviews, unit testing, integration testing and deployed to a production environment What Would be Nice to Have Demonstrated experience working with several AWS services Demonstrated experience with JIRA and GITHUB Pay Range: At GRVTY, we understand that compensation is influenced by many factors-such as geographic location, federal contract labor categories, wage rates, prior experience, skillsets, education, and certifications.
