The HHA Home Health Aide provides dedicated care and support to elderly patients at a single location, ensuring their comfort and well-being through compassionate personal and medical assistance. This role involves assisting with hygiene, light housekeeping tasks, offering emotional support, and effectively communicating with the healthcare team to maintain comprehensive care. Documentation is managed through both mobile app technology and traditional paper records.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care tailored to individual requirements
- Support elderly patients with daily personal hygiene needs
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Document patient care activities accurately using a mobile app or paper records
Preferred Qualifications
- Home Health Aide Certification
- Basic patient care knowledge
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Attention to detail in care documentation and patient support
