Position Overview

A growing appliance repair company servicing both commercial and residential customers is seeking a motivated, mechanically inclined Repair Technician to join its team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent technical school graduate, automotive mechanic, machine technician, maintenance technician, or individual with a mechanical repair background looking to build a long-term career in appliance repair.

Prior appliance repair experience is not required. We provide approximately 3–4 months of comprehensive, hands-on training to develop the technical skills necessary to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair appliances. Following training, technicians will begin handling basic service calls and progressively advance to independently managing more complex repair assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial and residential appliances.
• Participate in hands-on training alongside experienced service technicians.
• Learn to identify mechanical, electrical, and equipment-related issues.
• Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance under supervision.
• Progress toward independently managing service calls and repair assignments.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment issues and repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Travel to customer locations throughout the designated service area.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and a strong interest in troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
• Background in automotive repair, machinery repair, mechanical maintenance, HVAC, electrical systems, or a related technical field preferred.
• Recent graduates of vocational, trade, or technical schools are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technical skills.
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable interacting with customers.
• Ability to work independently as technical proficiency develops.
• Must possess a valid, active driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must have reliable personal transportation to travel to customer job sites.

Training & Career Development
