As part of our team, you'll enjoy a range of exciting benefits and opportunities:Fixed Starting Rate: $18.50/hrVariety of open schedules (All persons in this position should be prepared to work some weekends and holidays.)Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental Insurance (for FT employees), Supplemental Insurance, Life Insurance, and more!401(k) with up to a 3% employer matchPaid Time Off that increases with tenure; Including PTO Donation optionsNational Brand Discounts, Employee Referral Program, and access to Tapcheck (get 50% of your pay before payday)Access to career growth opportunities, paid training, and mentorshipMileage Reimbursement for travelPaid Training and Orientation: Training provided to ensure you're equipped to handle challenging behaviors.Job DescriptionProvide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with potential behavioral support needs.Assist with activities of daily living, household cleaning, meal preparation, shopping, budgeting, personal goals, appointments, community activities, and engagement.Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.Promote independence, personal choice, and life skills development.Support individuals in achieving goals and objectives outlined in their Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and document progress accordingly.Observe and communicate changes, concerns, and progress to supervisors and team members.Transport individuals to appointments, activities, and community outings as needed.Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation in accordance with program and regulatory requirements.QualificationsRequired (Must-Have):Minimum of 18 years of ageValid driver's license and proof of auto insuranceBasic computer skills for documentation and communicationAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishWillingness to assist individuals with personal cares and activities of daily living (ADLs)Physical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, bend, or squat for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsSkills & Abilities:Experience, training, or transferable skills that support success in a direct support roleStrong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skillsGenuine interest in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilitiesAbility to promote independence, community engagement, and person-centered supportsIf you're passionate about making a difference, we want to hear from you!
