Forklift OperatorThe Forklift Operator plays a critical role in maintaining efficient warehouse and production operations by safely transporting materials, loading and unloading trailers, supporting inventory management, and ensuring accurate movement of products throughout the facility. This position requires operating forklifts and other material handling equipment while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.ResponsibilitiesOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stage, and transport materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers while ensuring proper handling and documentation of shipments.Stage raw materials and production supplies to support manufacturing operations.Transport finished goods from production areas to designated storage locations.Perform accurate product counts and verify inventory during receiving, shipping, and storage activities.Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, quality concerns, and discrepancies, reporting issues as needed.Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and warehouse organization.Maintain clean, safe, and orderly warehouse, dock, and storage areas.Support daily UPS, FedEx, and freight shipments.Conduct daily forklift and equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.Follow all safety procedures and company policies while operating equipment.Essential SkillsForklift operationMaterial handlingShipping and receivingLoading and unloading trailersInventory controlWarehouse operationsPallet stagingAdditional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of one year of warehouse, manufacturing, or forklift operating experience.Ability to safely certify and operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.Experience loading and unloading products in a fast-paced environment.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to lift up to 65 pounds and perform physical activities including bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, and standing for extended periods.Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot and cold conditions.Why Work Here?Enjoy opportunities for attendance bonuses, career advancement, and long-term growth within the organization.
