Protomiq seeks a dynamic Senior Director of Marketing with a proven track record of building winnable pipeline to lead marketing strategy and execution. This is a key leadership role driving awareness, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth — spanning performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, content, events, partnerships, and brand.

Managing a team of tenured marketers, you'll build and execute a marketing strategy aligned with Company goals, developing a deep understanding of how brand, product marketing, demand generation, and events drive growth. You're a strategic, collaborative operator and an inspirational leader who motivates specialists to deliver results.

Essential Functions:

• Lead cross-functional marketing strategy to drive new customer acquisition and expand product adoption among existing customers.
• Serve as the team's demand and pipeline generation expert, scaling the business predictably and efficiently through marketing programs.
• Own the annual marketing budget — planning, tracking spend, and optimizing ad spend, staffing, and event costs to decrease Cost Per Lead and improve lead quality over time.
• Set weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual targets aligned to business goals, and track competitors' successes and failures to inform strategy.
• Plan and execute high-impact events and other field marketing activities coordinating with sales.
• Lead product marketing and content strategy — driving top-of-funnel interest and ongoing product adoption among current customers — partnering with Product and Operations on customer communications to improve Company CLTV.
• Manage a team of specialists and agencies to deliver marketing department results.

Competencies:

• Experience managing high-performing teams across a broad range of marketing disciplines.
• Extensive experience managing demand generation strategies, tactics, and metrics.
• Background effectively planning and delivering event and field marketing.
• Experience using Product Led Growth (PLG) — including in-app messaging (e.g., Pendo) and direct selling by account managers — to drive additional product adoption within the current customer base.
• Ability to partner with Sales and Ops to build workflows and data tracking into Salesforce, and to leverage partnerships to drive growth and brand presence.
• Self-motivated and an effective communicator, able to manage and motivate others across teams and summarize trends through clear reporting and visualizations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in marketing leadership roles. Equally comfortable reviewing Meta performance, planning lifecycle campaigns, developing creative strategy, and analyzing retention metrics.
• Stellar track record of driving customer acquisition and revenue growth, with strong marketing and research skills.
• Knowledge and practical experience with SEO, digital marketing tools, and related software.
• Proven experience partnering with sales to deliver effective events and optimize field marketing.
• Can balance brand building with performance marketing and move quickly without a large team.
• Highly observant, analytical, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong leadership and budget management skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• BS in marketing, branding, business, PR, or a similar field. Master's degree valued.
