Security Engineer, Corporate Security

Responsibilities

• Drive endpoint hardening across macOS, Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS through device management, application allowlisting, patching, and browser policy.
• Extend device-trust and zero-trust access controls while balancing security protections with employee workflow needs.
• Build identity and device-management automation for joiner/mover/leaver processes, exceptions, expirations, posture-based policy, and review-queue triage.
• Lead SaaS and identity governance covering third-party OAuth grants, delegated administration, chat-platform applications, browser extensions, and software security reviews.
• Partner with Security, IT, and Engineering on telemetry, detections, shared standards, and secure operation of AI-agent-driven systems.

Requirements

• Hands-on endpoint security engineering experience with macOS, Windows, Linux, or ChromeOS, including technologies such as MDM, declarative device management, application allowlisting, binary authorization, system extensions, or endpoint security frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python and general scripting, with the ability to build integrations, automation, internal tooling, and detections.
• Working depth in identity and access management, SaaS security, and zero-trust access.
• Threat-modeling judgment and the ability to scope security problems, define completion criteria, and drive work through completion.
• Commitment to Anthropic’s mission and the role of corporate security in supporting it.
• Preferred: experience defining security-program scope and tooling, shipping enforcement changes to large user populations, securing multiple endpoint platforms, managing mobile and BYOD security, governing modern SaaS environments, applying configuration-as-code and infrastructure-as-code with CI/CD, building LLM-assisted security tooling, and gaining organizational adoption through influence and partnership.
• A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field, as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.

Benefits

• Annual salary range of $320,000–$405,000 USD.
