Job Overview
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
J-Standard soldering experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly floor. Safety glasses, gloves. Some choose to wear a smock to protect their clothing.
- Test potted modules with various electro-optical test equipment, evaluate, disposition, and rework image intensifier tubes to ensure that product meets all specifications so that only quality product moves forward.
- Very manual and repetitive work.
- Microscope experience.
- Soldering experience.
- Experience handling small products/microchips.
- Working knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical measuring equipment and quality control terminology (preferred).
- Related manufacturing work experience (including soldering and high-volume production). Soldering certification preferred.
Skills:
- Good hand/eye coordination manual dexterity is required as will be working with glass products.
- Read drawings/blueprints/work instructions.
- Close attention to detail and quality.
- J-STD soldering experience.
