Inside Sales Representative

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, identifying needs, and delivering sealing solutions that support a wide range of industries. This position partners with customers daily to promote and sell sealing and cylinder componentsincluding rod/tube and sealsacross cylinder OEM, automotive OEM, oil and gas, food, beverage, water, instrumentation, and utility markets. A primary focus of the role is reconnecting with customers whose sales have declined, rebuilding engagement, and uncovering opportunities to grow their business.

Responsibilities:

• Follow up with leads provided internally by the marketing department, customer service, or sales director.
• Make contact with customers to generate sales and create organic growth with existing accounts by determining customer requirements and expectations.
• Use CRM tool (HubSpot) for recording call notes and activities.
• Handle customer concerns or issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Resolve product or service problems and expedite corrective actions with the cooperation of CSRs.
• Participate in special projects as requested.
• Manage time effectively and work successfully with other team members to meet sales goals.
• Attend Trelleborg and other product training as scheduled.

Skills Knowledge and Abilities:

• Strong command of written and oral communication skills.
• Must be comfortable making cold calls over the phone in a professional manner.
• Ability to interact with customers cordially and respectfully.
• Must have/develop a thorough understanding of CRC Distribution products.
• Must be able to interact cordially and productively with co-workers in a team environment and establish relationships with individuals at all levels of the company.
• Must be able to manage difficult individuals and situations.
• Must be able to make independent judgment decisions with minimal supervision.
• Proven sales or customer service experience. Fluid power experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• College/University degree preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in sales or customer service
• 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales or customer service

Pay:

This is a fully commission-based position. We guarantee a minimum of $10 per hour, however most Inside Sales Representatives earn between $85,000 and $110,000 per year.
