Job Summary:
Step Down Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves working within a skilled care unit providing patient management, monitoring, and intervention for patients requiring step-down or intermediate care. The position requires flexibility to float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles based on the organization's needs, with an emphasis on acute care experience in progressive care units or telemetry units.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; 2 years of experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical Telemetry, or Acute Care; experience with electronic documentation systems such as EPIC; recent traveler experience preferred; able to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles; must be able to start by 07/19/2026
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Step Down or Telemetry units; recent travel nursing experience; certification(s) in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Additional Information: Candidates must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, acute care environment and adapt quickly to different units as needed. The position requires the ability to start promptly by mid-July for an elevated rate.
